HOW TO ENTER

  1. To be eligible to enter this promotion, individuals must purchase any specially marked ‘Jamie Oliver by Tefal’ cookware product from a participating retailer in Australia or New Zealand between 21.12.09 and 11.59pm AEDST on 21.02.10
  2. To enter, individuals must then either:
    1. fully complete either the entry form or on-pack sticker (whichever available) found in participating retailers including an answer to the question “What has been your favourite dish, inspired by Jamie?” in 25 words or less, attach a photocopy of their purchase receipt and send together to Jamie Oliver by Tefal Promotion C/- Groupe SEB Australia Pty Ltd, PO Box 7535, Silverwater, NSW 2128 Australia (in the case of Australian residents) OR Jamie Oliver by Tefal Promotion C/- Groupe SEB New Zealand Pty Ltd PO Box 17-298, Greenlane, Auckland 1546 New Zealand (in the case of New Zealand residents). All mail entries must be received by last mail on 26.02.10; or
    2. visit www.tefalpromotion.com.au, follow the prompts to the promotion entry page, input the requested details including the full receipt number found on their purchase receipt and an answer to the question “What has been your favourite dish, inspired by Jamie?” in 25 words or less and submit the fully completed online entry form by 11.59pm AEDST on 21.02.10.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

  1. Information on how to enter and prizes form part of these Terms and Conditions. Entry into this promotion is deemed to be acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
  2. The Promoter is Groupe SEB Australia Pty Ltd of Unit 1, 10 Hill Road, Homebush Bay, NSW 2127 (ABN 40 081 605 889) (Promoter).
  3. Entry is only open to Australian and New Zealand residents. Directors, employees and other staff of the Promoter and their immediate families, participating retailers, and agencies associated with this promotion are ineligible to enter.
  4. This promotion commences on 21.12.09 and closes at 11.59pm AEDST on 21.02.10. All online entries must be received by 11:59pm AEDST on 21.02.10 and all mail entries must be received by last mail on 26.02.10. The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and entrants (including an entrant’s identity, age and place of residence) and to disqualify any entrant who submits an entry that does not comply with these Terms and Conditions or who tampers with, or benefits from any tampering with, the entry process. Entries which contain errors or omissions will be invalid at the discretion of the Promoter. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights. Entries made using purchase receipts that are stolen, forged or tampered with in any way are void.
  5. The Promoter will not be responsible for any late, lost or misdirected entries.
  6. Multiple entries are permitted, subject to the following conditions: (a) only one (1) entry permitted per participating product purchase; (b) each entry must be substantially unique; and (c) each entry must be submitted separately and in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.
  7. Entrants must retain the original purchase receipt(s) for all entries as proof of purchase in the event they are a winner. Failure to provide the original purchase receipt for all entries to the Promoter upon request may, in the absolute discretion of the Promoter, result in an entrant’s winning entry (and all other entries) being deemed invalid and forfeit their right to any prize.
  8. Incomplete, incomprehensible and/or illegible entries will be deemed invalid.
  9. The judging of eligible entries will take place at Unit 1, 10 Hill Road, Homebush Bay, NSW 2127 on 04.03.10 at 3:00pm AEDST. Winners of the competition will be notified by telephone and/or by mail. This is a game of skill and chance plays no part in determining the winners. Each eligible entry will be individually judged and based on literary and creative merit of the answer provided in their entry form. The Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
  10. Major Prize Details: The best valid entry, as determined by a panel of judges, will win the opportunity for them and three (3) guests to attend a VIP night with the appearance of Jamie Oliver Live at a location in Sydney, NSW to be determined by the Promoter, in its absolute discretion, on 14.03.10. The VIP night includes, for the winner and their three selected (3) guests, one (1) ticket each to a 90 minute VIP pre-show cocktail function with canapés and beverages (including alcoholic and non-alcoholic), one (1) ticket each to a VIP experience of the “Jamie Oliver Live” show and one (1) ticket each to a VIP after show .Tickets to the VIP pre-show, VIP experience of the “Jamie Oliver Live” show and VIP after show are limited to selected guests and will not be available to the general public. If the Major Prize winner or any of the Major Prize winner’s selected guests do not reside within NSW, the Major Prize winner and those selected guests will each be awarded one (1) return economy class airfare ticket from their closest capital city to Sydney, NSW departing on 13.03.10 and one (1) night’s twin share 4 star accommodation on 13.03.10. Major Prize valued at up to AUD$15,000.
  11. The Promoter reserves the right to determine the location at which the Major Prize will be held, in agreement with Jamie Oliver. Location and timeframe for taking the Major Prize is subject to change depending on Jamie Oliver’s availability. The Major Prize winner and any of the Major Prize winner’s selected guests acknowledge and agree that the accommodation element of the Major Prize is twin-share and they will be required to share a room with another person attending the Major Prize, as determined by the Promoter in its absolute discretion. Any alcoholic beverages awarded as part of the Major Prize will be restricted to persons 18 years or over. The Promoter encourages consumers to enjoy responsibly. Legal aged consumers are advised to consider the safe drinking levels recommended in the National Health & Medical Research Council Australian Alcohol Guidelines that are available at www.nhmrc.gov.au.
  12. Second Prize Details: The next ten (10) best valid entries, as determined by a panel of judges, will each win two (2) Platinum tickets to the “Jamie Oliver Live” show at Hisense Arena, Melbourne on either 11.03.10 or 12.03.10, as determined by the Promoter, in its absolute discretion. If any Second Prize winners or their selected guest do not reside within VIC, the Second Prize winner and their selected guest will each be awarded one (1) return economy class airfare ticket from their closest capital city to Melbourne, VIC departing one (1) day prior to the date stated on the Platinum tickets to the “Jamie Oliver Live” show and one (1) night’s twin share 4 star accommodation. Each Second Prize is valued at up to AUD$1,500.
  13. The Second Prize winners and any of the Second Prize winner’s selected guests acknowledge and agree that the accommodation element of the Second Prize is twin-share and they will be required to share a room with another person attending the Second Prize, as determined by the Promoter in its absolute discretion.
  14. All tickets awarded in the Major Prize draw (inclusive of the VIP pre-show, VIP “Jamie Oliver Live” show and VIP after show in Sydney, NSW) and Second Prize draw (inclusive of the “Jamie Oliver Live” show in Melbourne, VIC) are subject to the event venue and ticket terms and conditions, including any applicable age restriction. The Promoter and event organizers hereby expressly reserve the right to eject any winner (and/or his/her companion) for any inappropriate behaviour, including but not limited to intoxication, whilst participating in any element of the prize.
  15. Major and Second Prizes are subject to booking and flight availability. Spending money, additional meals, insurance, transport to and from departure point, transfers, items of a personal nature, in-room charges and all other ancillary costs are not included. Frequent flyer points will not form part of the any prize. Major and Second Prizes are subject to the standard terms and conditions of individual prize and service providers. If for any reason the winner of the Major Prize or any winner of a Second Prize does not take the prize or an element of the prize at the time stipulated by the Promoter, then the prize or that element of the prize will be forfeited and not be redeemable for cash. If the winner of the Major Prize or a Second Prize is under the age of 18 years, that prize will be awarded to the winner's parent or guardian, at the absolute discretion of the Promoter.
  16. Third Prize Details: The next twenty (20) best valid entries, as determined by a panel of judges, will each win a ‘Jamie Oliver by Tefal’ Stainless Steel Cookware 5 piece set (E9859142). Each ‘Jamie Oliver by Tefal’ Cookware Stainless Steel 5 piece set contains: 1 x 20cm frypan, 1 x 24 cm frypan, 1 x 18cm saucepan, 1 x 20cm saucepan and 1 x 24cm sauté pan. Each Third Prize is valued at RRP AUD$799.95.
  17. If any prize (or part of any prize) is unavailable, the Promoter, in its discretion, reserves the right to substitute the prize (or that part of the prize) with a prize to the equal value and/or specification.
  18. Total prize pool value is up to AUD$45,999. Prizes, or any unused portion of a prize, are not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash.
  19. Any cost associated with accessing the promotional website is the entrant’s responsibility and is dependent on the Internet service provider used. The use of any automated entry software or any other mechanical or electronic means that allows an entrant to automatically enter repeatedly is prohibited and will render all entries submitted by that entrant invalid.
  20. If this promotion is interfered with in any way or is not capable of being conducted as reasonably anticipated due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to the fullest extent permitted by law (a) to disqualify any entrant; or (b) to modify, suspend, terminate or cancel the promotion, as appropriate.
  21. Except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law, the Promoter (including its officers, employees and agents) excludes all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury; or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity); whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of the promotion, including, but not limited to, where arising out of the following: (a) any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction (whether or not under the Promoter’s control); (b) any theft, unauthorised access or third party interference; (c) any entry or prize claim that is late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected (whether or not after their receipt by the Promoter) due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter; (d) any variation in prize value to that stated in these Terms and Conditions; (e) if the appearance of Jamie Oliver or the ‘Jamie Oliver Live’ show is cancelled for any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter; (f) any tax liability incurred by a winner or entrant; or (g) use of a prize.
  22. Entrants consent to the Promoter using the entrant's name, likeness, image and/or voice in the event they are a winner (including photograph, film and/or recording of the same) in any media for an unlimited period without remuneration for the purpose of promoting this promotion (including any outcome), and promoting any products manufactured, distributed and/or supplied by the Promoter.
  23. All entries submitted become the property of the Promoter. Entries will not be returned to any entrant. As a condition of entering into this promotion, each entrant agrees to assign all of their rights, title and interest (including copyright) in and to their entry to the Promoter. Entrants consent to the Promoter using the entrant's answers in any media for an unlimited period without remuneration for the purpose of promoting any products manufactured, distributed and/or supplied by the Promoter.
  24. The Promoter collects personal information in order to conduct the promotion and may, for this purpose, disclose such information to third parties, including but not limited to agents, contractors, service providers, and prize suppliers. Entry is conditional on providing this information. If the information requested is not provided, the entrant may not participate in the promotion. The Promoter may, for an indefinite period, unless otherwise advised, use the information for promotional, marketing, publicity, research and profiling purposes, including sending electronic messages or telephoning the entrant. Entrants should direct any request to access, update or correct information to the Promoter.
